What we did

Campaign site

  1. Designed 5 suggested itineraries- Fantastic Aurora, Magical Rocky Mountains, Nostalgic East Coast, Big Ciy Jungle, and Captivating Coastal.
  2. People can pick a favorite itinerary and share it on their facebook to win a ticket to Vancouver.

International Taipei Travel Fair

Objective

Increase ticket sales by hosting an online travel fair as a pre-ITF promotion.

IDEA

Give me 100 good reasons to go to North America.

We asked people to share a good reason to visit North America to spark conversations on social networks.

What we did

First wave- Facebook campaign

  1. Ask fans to share 100 reasons to visit North America on Air Canada’s facebook.
  2. We announced a special online discount as soon as we gathered 100 comments.
  3. We used some of the comments to make cutouts for Air Canada’s booth at ITF.

Second wave- Celebrity co-op

  1. We had three local celebrities make videos to share their tips on traveling to North America and shared them on their facebook pages.
  2. We shared our tips on traveling to North America to see the hottest sports games.

Third wave- Interactive MRT ad

  1. We put up posters on the inside of an MRT car. The posters have a secret code to Air Canada’s last minute special discount. We then put up the schedule of the MRT car on the campaign site and had people go find the posters to get the last minute discount.
